The moment you have to pull a word out of your own memory, before you are quite ready, is the moment it takes root. So Wordhoard shows you the word doing its job inside a natural sentence, with a single blank where the word belongs. You try to recall it. You reveal.
An SM-2 spaced-repetition scheduler then decides exactly when that card should return, spacing it wider each time you get it right and pulling it closer when you slip. You study fewer cards and remember far more of them.
